Be in my mind, my Father, through the day.
“Be in my mind, my Father, when I wake, and shine on me throughout the day today. Let every minute be a time in which I dwell with You. And let me not forget my hourly thanksgiving that You have remained with me, and always will be there to hear my call to You and answer me. As evening comes, let all my thoughts be still of You and of Your Love. And let me sleep sure of my safety, certain of Your care, and happily aware I am Your Son” (ACIM Lesson 232 1:1-5).
We do not have to wait for God to put down what She is doing to then enter our minds. She is already there, waiting for us to put down our distractions and notice Her loving gaze. In today’s lesson we are told, “This is as every day should be” (ACIM Lesson 232 2:1), because it is the Truth. In every breath of the day, God is ever-present. It only takes our awareness for this peace to be experienced. And is this not what we truly desire, to witness the peace of God throughout our day and lives?
What we have asked, we have already been given. We have talked about the Remembrance many times on our walk together. Lesson 232 gives us the opportunity to spend an entire day reflecting on our experience of shifting our perception to the Remembrance, recalling what is already so. God is always in our midst, holding us and keeping our true Identity safe. We need look no further than the Ultimate Miracle that is in this very breath. Namaste.
