A Course in Miracles: Lesson 353

Lesson 353

My eyes, my tongue, my hands, my feet today have but one purpose;

to be given Christ to use to bless the world with miracles.

“Father, I give all that is mine today to Christ, to use in any way that best will serve the purpose that I share with Him.  Nothing is mine alone, for He and I have joined in purpose.  Thus has learning come almost to its appointed end.  A while I work with Him to serve His purpose.  Then I lose myself in my Identity, and recognize that Christ is but my Self”  (ACIM Lesson 353 1:1-5).

How often have we lost ourselves in another person, a job, an addiction, our families, our daily tasks, etc.?  Most likely, you encountered your spiritual journey because you realized how lost you were in something other than yourself.  How beautiful it is that, today, we are prompted to lose ourselves in our own Identity, becoming as One with Christ, with our Self.

If you want to truly lose yourself in something worthwhile, give everything you have, body and all, over to God.  Let Her use it for the service of salvation.  Allow Her to use your vessel as a beacon of Light.  Permit Her to use your entire being for its splendor.  We have only come to use our human faculties as a means of limiting experience our experience.  But when you release ALL to the Divine, you open yourself up to something much greater than what could have ever imagined.  True, we created the idea of separation, which has been no easy task, pretending we are anything other than Love.  However, there is something much greater awaiting us beyond our creative, yet mad, illusions.  It is beyond the mind’s comprehension and inspiration.  Thus, don’t even try to figure out how you will be used to bless the world with miracles.  Just know you will and watch with wonderment.  In truth, you are really only here to Love and enjoy the Show of Awakening….so get lost in It.  Get lost in You.  Namaste.
