Lesson 244
I am in danger nowhere in the world.
“Your Son is safe wherever he may be, for You are there with him. He need but call upon Your Name, and he will recollect his safety and Your Love, fro they are one. How can he fear or doubt or fail to know he cannot suffer, be endangered, or experience unhappiness, when he belongs to You, beloved and loving, in the safety of Your Fatherly embrace?” (ACIM Lesson 244 1:1-3).
We are completely safe. We are holy untouched. There is nothing we need worry about or protect, as our light shines the brightest in our deepest moments of vulnerability.
In our nakedness we are safe and truly seen. The world cannot harm us nor can our fellow brothers and sisters. No dis-ease or illness can ever overtake What we truly are. Nothing ever harms our magnificence or hides the beauty of what lies within us. Lesson 153 reminds us, “In my defenselessness my safety lies,” as it is in our vulnerability can we witness the brilliance of what it means to be Spirit in human form.
“And there we are in truth. No storms can come into the hallowed haven of our home. In God we are secure” (ACIM Lesson 244 2:1-3).
This is the simple truth we can abide in today. In God we can fully rest, and by doing so we can fully rest within ourselves and be at peace in the world. Namaste.
